Job Summary:
Press brake operators are responsible for producing parts and tools from metal materials using precision bending equipment known as a press brake. They interpret drawings for the finished product, adjust machine settings for speed, material feed, and bend path, and ensure proper setup and functioning of machines. Additionally, they maintain equipment, uphold safety standards, and inspect finished products for quality.
Main Activities:
- Produce precision sheet metal components using press brakes trumpf and or durma.
- Apply precision tools such as Vernier callipers.
- Operate and upkeep machinery.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization standards are met.
- Assist team members with diverse responsibilities.
- Follow Health & Safety Policies diligently.
- Execute additional tasks as needed within the manufacturing domain.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in precision sheet metal fabrication.
- Skilled in setting up and running CNC press brakes.
- Adept at interpreting engineering schematics.
- Experienced in utilizing engineering measurement tools.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
