Location: MidlandsRemuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + project profit related bonus Benefits: Company vehicle, pension, death in service, 25 days annual leave, IT suite
The role of the Contracts Manager - Sports Surfaces will involve:
- Contracts Manager position dealing with a range of sports facilities such as: natural turf pitches, athletics tracks, 3G pitches, hybrid turf pitches, MUGAs & courts
- Managing all aspects of the contracts from the tender stage all the way through to the completion
- Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks
- Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project
- Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients
- Procuring required materials to ensure project is completed smoothly
- Overseeing project designs and making amendments where required
- Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
- Electronically documenting all contract-related correspondence, identifying and recording progress and problems
- Managing projects that range in value between £500k to £5m+
The ideal applicant will be Contracts Manager - Sports Surfaces with:
- Must have 5 + years Contracts Management experience within the civils or groundworks market sector
- Ideally will have experience dealing with sports surfaces however this isn’t essential
- IT literate (Microsoft Programme, Word & Excel)
- Full UK driving license
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Personable, team player, problem solver, driven and enthusiastic
