Your new companyYou will be joining an established main contractor based in Leicestershire operating in the water industry. This multi-accredited contractor has a proven successful track record in delivering both clean water and wastewater projects for Severn Trent, and due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Contracts Manager to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Leicestershire office with the option for hybrid working.

Your new roleAs Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring contracts comply with regulatory and legal requirements governing water infrastructure projects
  • Overseeing the administration of contracts throughout their lifecycles
  • Managing site teams on assigned projects, including subcontractors and direct labour
  • Ensuring detailed programmes are drawn up and adhered to on assigned projects
  • Developing and managing budgets for contracts.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Previous experience in the water industry (clean water and/or wastewater), ideally on infrastructure projects
  • Understanding and commercial application of NEC3 form of contracts
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Full UK driving licence.
