The role

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Conveyancer with 3+ years PQE to join our award-winning residential conveyancing team.

As a Senior Associate Conveyancing Solicitor at Nelsons, you will play a pivotal role in our Residential Property Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to manage a varied caseload, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the strategic growth of the department.

  • Handle a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
  • Provide expert legal advice and support to clients throughout the conveyancing process, ensuring high standards of client care and service.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory and legal requirements, including anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Assist in the growth of the Residential Property Department through networking, marketing initiatives, and client relationship management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery within the department.

To be successful in applying for this role, you must be a team-player, possess excellent client care skills, be technically strong with an eye for detail and have the ability to communicate effectively. You must also be reliable, organised, able to work in a busy environment, possess excellent time management and interpersonal skills, and be enthusiastic about business development.
