We are looking for a Paralegal to join us in our Conveyancing team at Smith Partnership, a forward-thinking, leading law firm in the Midlands, employing over 200 staff throughout 6 offices.

About Us:

Our dedicated residential property team has years of experience in guiding individuals, couples and families through all aspects of a property transaction.


What youll do as Paralegal:
  • Performing basic conveyancing tasks
  • Commissioning and interpreting searches
  • Assisting with property enquiries.

What were looking for in a Paralegal:
  • A degree in Law or a relevant field (LPC qualification is desirable but not essential).
  • Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar role, particularly within conveyancing would be advantageous.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with a focus on conveyancing legal issues (desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • An understanding of the Land Registry portal system together with the ability to lodge SDLT applications in respect of leasehold and freehold transactions would be advantageous
