RECfinancial are currently recruiting for along standing client as they look to recruit an experienced Credit Controlleron a permanent, hybrid basis. This market leading client has a very low turnover of staff and look after their employees exceptionally well. The role has come about due to internal promotion. Whilst the position is full time, our client will also consider reduced hours for the right candidate.
The role reports through to an experienced, professional and friendly manager and sits firmly within the finance function.

So what does the Credit Control role involve.
As a key member of Finance, you'll have solid knowledge of both Credit Control and Sales ledger, along with additional skills. More importantly is personality and attitude.
You'll be professional with strong communication skills, with the ability to work with the team, across the business and speak to clients. If this sounds like you, then please read on.
The Credit Control role will involve the following;
Primary duties of the Credit Control function,

  • Allocation of payments to accounts
  • Reconciliation of remittance advice
  • Chasing overdue payments
  • Handling phone calls relating to clients across the business
  • Query resolution with projects to facilitate payment release
  • Processing cheques on SAP
  • Monitoring of Proforma accounts
  • Assessing project status to relay to the business on payment dates
  • Monitor STOP status and update accounts


What skills will the Credit Controller possess

  • Accounts Receivable and Credit Controlexperience
  • Clear & confident communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong with numbers
  • Knowledge of retentions would be ideal but not essential
  • Great attention to detail
  • Highly organised
  • Proactive mindset


Whats on offer

  • 08.30am 5.00pm or 08.00am 4.30pm Mon - Thurs / early finish on a Friday
