Credit Controller

Macildowie is working with a well-established and growing business to recruit a Credit Controller into their Finance Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional looking for a role where they can take ownership of debt management and credit control processes.

This role plays a key part in managing and reducing debt, ensuring accurate credit control, and maintaining ledgers within company expectations. If you have a strong background in credit control, debt reduction, and financial reconciliation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The Role

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and maintaining credit control, ensuring outstanding debts are reduced in line with company goals.
  • Producing and sending monthly statements, liaising with internal teams to resolve outstanding queries.
  • Overseeing cash allocation, ensuring all unallocated cash is minimised.
  • Preparing monthly aged debt and unallocated cash reports for management review.
  • Completing month-end duties, including balance sheet reconciliations and journals.
  • Providing support and guidance to internal teams and external clients on credit control matters.
  • Assisting in ad-hoc duties and projects, including providing cover for colleagues during absence.
