Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations as the lead School Chef Manager in school settings.
- Plan and prepare nutritious and appealing meals for students, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining high standards as a Chef.
- Manage kitchen staff, providing training and support as needed to ensure a well-functioning team under your leadership as Chef.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies, ensuring cost-effective and efficient kitchen management as a responsible Chef.
- Collaborate with school staff to create a positive dining experience for students, enhancing the school's reputation with your expertise as a Chef.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a school or similar environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Passion for creating healthy, balanced meals for children.
- Flexibility to work across various locations within the West Midlands.
