Aspire People are proud to be working with an outstanding primary school in Leicester (LE7) to recruit an experienced Qualified Teacher (QTS) for a full-time, long-term position. This role offers a competitive daily rate of 130-200, depending on your experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and dedicated educator, with a passion for fostering a positive learning environment and helping all students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Delivering Lessons: Design and implement engaging and creative lessons, ensuring they are differentiated to meet the needs of all learners within the class.

Classroom Management: Maintain high standards of classroom management, creating an environment where children feel motivated, valued, and safe to learn.

Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and ensuring that learning targets are met. Use formative assessment data to inform lesson planning and provide tailored support.

Individual and Group Support: Support students' individual learning needs, ensuring inclusive teaching practices and providing extra assistance where required.

Collaboration with Staff: Work closely with other teaching staff, teaching assistants, and the SENCO to ensure students receive the appropriate support and interventions.

Parental Engagement: Regularly communicate with parents/carers to discuss student progress and address any concerns, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school.

Professional Development: Actively participate in school-wide professional development opportunities, and work with the leadership team to continually improve teaching practices and student outcomes.

Essential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must have QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
Experience: Proven experience teaching in a UK primary school setting, demonstrating your ability to manage classrooms effectively and engage students in their learning.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to ensuring all students reach their full potential.

Classroom Management: Strong classroom management strategies, with a focus on creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.

DBS: A DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

Previous experience teaching within the specified year groups.
Knowledge of phonics, maths mastery, or other specific teaching methodologies.
