Location: Leicester City CentreSalary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Fully office based

Role Overview: Our client is looking for an experienced Billing and Credit Control Team Leader to head our invoicing team, both locally and remotely in India. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient invoicing processes, maintaining effective credit control, and supporting our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in FMCG environments, extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics BC 365, and experience managing remote teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Invoicing team in India, providing guidance and support on invoicing matters.
• Develop comprehensive job descriptions for each Credit Control team member, ensuring effective training and operation.
• Seamless invoicing processes.
• Possess strong knowledge of Incoterms and VAT regulations across Europe.
• Establish and report on KPIs weekly, including overdue percentages, DR notes processed, and cash availability.
• Liaise with invoice finance companies for direct payments.
• Ensure timely submission of correct paperwork for Letter of Credit customers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in an FMCG environment as head of invoicing and credit control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the order to cash collection process.
• Experience working with and managing remote teams, particularly in India.
• Availability for 5 days in the office, with potential changes in the future.
