Bench Hand Joiner - Permanent Position
Location: Leicester
Salary: £15 - £18 per hour (PAYE)
We are seeking a skilled Bench Hand Joiner to join a large bespoke fit-out company based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing company on a permanent basis with competitive pay and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and assemble high-quality bespoke joinery items to meet client specifications.
- Work from technical drawings and plans to produce precision joinery work.
- Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Quality control checks to ensure all work is to the highest standard.
- Work closely with the team to meet project deadlines and requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bench Hand Joiner, ideally within a bespoke fit-out environment.
- Strong skills in joinery techniques, including assembly and finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop setting.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
