Our client is a leading UK-based network focused on supporting mortgage and protection professionals.
Job PurposeAs a Compliance Review Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the firms within the network comply with all relevant regulatory requirements. This role involves reviewing and approving financial promotions, customer-facing materials, and stationery, while assessing the potential risk they pose to both the network and consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and review accurate records of financial promotions for partner firms, ensuring compliance with internal systems and regulatory standards
- Conduct spot checks of marketing materials (websites, emails, ads, social media) to ensure regulatory compliance
- Perform desk-based reviews of financial promotions and provide feedback to ensure clarity, fairness, and compliance
- Provide feedback on marketing campaigns, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
- Report risks and concerns to management, recommending appropriate actions
- Produce MI reports and document all decisions regarding financial promotions
- Report breaches per the network’s policy, ensuring records are maintained
- Deliver training on financial promotions and compliance best practices to team members
Role Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the financial services sector
- CeMAP or equivalent professional qualification (desirable)
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- A highly self-motivated individual
