Job PurposeAs a Compliance Review Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the firms within the network comply with all relevant regulatory requirements. This role involves reviewing and approving financial promotions, customer-facing materials, and stationery, while assessing the potential risk they pose to both the network and consumers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and review accurate records of financial promotions for partner firms, ensuring compliance with internal systems and regulatory standards
  • Conduct spot checks of marketing materials (websites, emails, ads, social media) to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Perform desk-based reviews of financial promotions and provide feedback to ensure clarity, fairness, and compliance
  • Provide feedback on marketing campaigns, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
  • Report risks and concerns to management, recommending appropriate actions
  • Produce MI reports and document all decisions regarding financial promotions
  • Report breaches per the network’s policy, ensuring records are maintained
  • Deliver training on financial promotions and compliance best practices to team members

Role Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the financial services sector
  • CeMAP or equivalent professional qualification (desirable)
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
  • A highly self-motivated individual
