Bench Hand Joiner

Location: Leicester City Centre

Salary: 14 - 16 per hour

Job Type: Permanent

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Overtime: Available and paid at a premium rate

Engineering @ 365 is recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Bench Hand Joiner to join their team based Leicester Centre on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a bench hand joiner and experience working on bespoke projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Craft and assemble wooden components and structures with precision.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate work.
Operate various joinery machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
Ensure high-quality finishes on all projects.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
Work collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

NVQ qualification in joinery or a related field.
Proven experience as a bench hand joiner.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Proficient in using joinery tools and machinery.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
