Platinum Recruitment is partnering with a reputable childcare provider in Leicester who is looking for a passionate Nursery Nurse with a Level 2 or above in Early Years to join their dedicated team. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care, support, and engaging learning experiences for children, ensuring their individual needs are met in a fun and nurturing environment.

  • Flexible working hours: Our client's nurseries are open between 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, and shifts are within this window. They also offer the option to work full-time hours over 4 days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-time, permanent contract
  • Level 2 or above in Early Years is required
  • Promote high standards of care and quality in the nursery environment
  • Take on key carer responsibilities for designated children
  • Plan and deliver stimulating activities that support the development of children
  • Assist with preparing and supporting children's daily activities
  • Take day-to-day management responsibilities in the absence of the Team/Room Leader
  • An enhanced DBS will be required for this position
  • Ensure compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements
  • Support and mentor students and unqualified staff, ensuring high-quality care and education standards
