Hays Education is working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in Leicester to find a Qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team until the end of the academic year. The school are looking for Level 3 TA with an excellent working knowledge of the phonics and experience supporting SEND pupils. Your new role

In your new job as a Teaching Assistant with Hays, you will work on alongside class Teachers across Key Stage 1 and 2 to create an enjoyable working environment for pupils by offering 1:1 support in the classroom as well as leading one-to-one interventions with small groups. You'll work collaboratively to foster positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. You will also benefit from the support of your dedicated Recruitment Consultant, Hollie, who will be on-hand throughout your placement and beyond.

What you need to succeed

To be successful in your new job, you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience working within a primary setting. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who would like to gain more classroom experience before taking on full teaching responsibility. You'll need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be prepared to support SEND and EAL pupils. Most importantly, you'll be confident stepping into a new school ready to build relationships quickly!
