Tradewind is seeking a compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role in Leicester, starting immediately.
The position involves providing 1:1 support for a child with complex SEND needs and implementing strategies to aid their learning and development.
Candidates must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have experience working with children with complex SEND needs.
A patient, caring demeanor, along with strong communication and teamwork skills, are essential for this role.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Teaching Assistant - 1:1 SEND Support

Are you an experienced and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role? Tradewind is currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work children with SEND needs.

Role Details:

Location: Leicester
Start Date: Immediate start
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 tailored support for a child with complex SEND needs
- Implement strategies to support the child's learning and development
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt activities
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
Experience working with children with complex SEND needs
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
