Hays Education is working with a vibrant school in Leicester to find a Qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team from January until the end of the academic year. The school are looking for Level 3 TA with an excellent working knowledge phonics and experience supporting EAL pupils. They have a brilliant team of Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and HLTAs to support you in your new role, too. Your new role
In your new job as a Teaching Assistant with Hays, you will work on alongside class Teachers to create an enjoyable working environment for pupils by offering 1:1 support in the classroom as well as leading one-to-one interventions with small groups in English and Maths. You'll work collaboratively to foster positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. You will also benefit from the support of your dedicated Recruitment Consultant, Hollie, who will be on-hand throughout your placement and beyond.
What you need to succeed
To be successful in your new job, you will hold a Teaching Assistant Qualification to a Level 3 or higher and have recent experience working in a Primary School. You'll need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be prepared to support SEND and EAL pupils. Most importantly, you'll be confident stepping into a new school ready to build relationships quickly!
