Teaching Assistant Job

Location: LeicesterContract Type: Temporary

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs in a welcoming primary school in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previously worked with children or adults requiring extra learning support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with additional learning needs.
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement individual learning plans.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking student progress, offering feedback and support.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience supporting children or adults with additional learning needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
