We are seeking a motivated Consultant Ecologist to contribute to a variety of exciting projects across different sectors. Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ecological Surveys: Conduct field surveys, habitat assessments, and protected species work.
  • Reporting: Prepare ecological reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEA) and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
  • Project Support: Assist senior team members with project planning and delivery.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with clients, providing ecological advice throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the ecology team to ensure the successful completion of projects.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience: 2-4 years in ecology or a related field.
  • Education: Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a similar discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with EIAs, UKHab surveys, and protected species work is a plus.
  • Professional Membership: Ideally a member of a recognised body (e.g., CIEEM) or willing to join.
  • Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required.
  • Eligibility: You must have the right to work in the UK.
