Your Key Responsibilities:
- Ecological Surveys: Conduct field surveys, habitat assessments, and protected species work.
- Reporting: Prepare ecological reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEA) and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
- Project Support: Assist senior team members with project planning and delivery.
- Client Communication: Collaborate with clients, providing ecological advice throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the ecology team to ensure the successful completion of projects.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 2-4 years in ecology or a related field.
- Education: Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a similar discipline.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with EIAs, UKHab surveys, and protected species work is a plus.
- Professional Membership: Ideally a member of a recognised body (e.g., CIEEM) or willing to join.
- Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required.
- Eligibility: You must have the right to work in the UK.
