This company has gone from strength to strength with manufacturing facilities on three continents.Job Role:As a control system engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out PLC fault finding, programming and commissioning. This role can also offer a flexible Mon-Fri working pattern!Typical Duties will involve:

  • PLC fault finding and programming
  • Working from electrical drawings
  • Working with PLC and drive diagnostics
  • PC based, Rockwell compact Logix or Red-Lion Graphite Terminals
  • Toshiba Unified Controller PLCs
  • Installation projects, commissioned and programmed on site (Leicestershire)
  • Variety of temperature controllers from West, Siemens, London Electronics, that require parametrising and commissioning

Desirable experience:

  • Have a relevant Engineering qualification, electrical or PLC specific
  • Capable of producing CAD control panel schematics/liaising with the mechanical development team
  • Follow up support during site installation through to final handover, remote log in.
  • Very occasional client site visits if remote problem solving cannot be rectified
  • PLC knowledge with Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley
