The job is for an Electrical Design Engineer located in Leicestershire on a permanent basis.
The salary range for this position is between £35,000 and £50,000 per annum.
Candidates should have prior electrical design experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with experience in designing industrial machinery.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, good understanding of PLC/HMI, and a full UK driving license are required.
Responsibilities include producing design documentation, ensuring health and safety compliance, and writing software for PLC and HMIs.

JOB – Electrical Design Engineer LOCATION – Leicestershire TERM - Permanent SALARY – £35,000 - £50,000 per annum. A Leicestershire based Engineering company are currently looking for a Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical design package.
Previous electrical design experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
Previous experience designing industrial machinery.
Good PLC/ HMI understanding & knowledge.
Full UK driving license.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The duties & responsibilities will include:

Producing design documentation & electrical wiring diagrams.
Ensuring health & safety regulations are being met at all times
Providing support to other engineers when required.
Writing software for PLC & HMIs.
