The job is for an Electrical Design Engineer located in Leicestershire on a permanent basis.
The salary range for this position is £35,000 - £50,000 per annum.
Candidates should have previous electrical design experience in a manufacturing environment and experience designing industrial machinery.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and a good understanding of PLC/HMI is required, along with a full UK driving license.
The role involves producing design documentation, ensuring health and safety compliance, and providing support to other engineers.

JOB – Electrical Design Engineer LOCATION – Leicestershire TERM - Permanent SALARY – £35,000 - £50,000 per annum. A Leicestershire based Engineering company are currently looking for a Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical design package.
Previous electrical design experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
Previous experience designing industrial machinery.
Good PLC/ HMI understanding & knowledge.
Full UK driving license.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The duties & responsibilities will include:

Producing design documentation & electrical wiring diagrams.
Ensuring health & safety regulations are being met at all times
Providing support to other engineers when required.
Writing software for PLC & HMIs.
