Job Title: Electrical Design EngineerLocation: Leicester Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus monthly and yearlyWorking Monday to Thursday 8:15- 5pm / Friday 8:15- 1pm DC Personnel is representing a Manufacturing business in Leicestershire who are excited to grow their Design Engineer department adding a new team member to support their Electrical Design Engineer department. This role is suitable for experienced Electrical Design Engineer that has some experience in one of the following or similar : product designer, power control system designer, machinery designer, generator designer, air condition designer, any other similar equipment Electrical Design experience! The role will be working for a well-established business in Leicester, currently they have 12 engineers, and this role ideally will be office based, but will leave an open conversation for some hybrid working if needed. This company supply their product in Europe and Asia, Middle East and UK. Benefits for Electrical Design Engineer• Pay £45,000 - £50,000 • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays• Personal bonus(monthly and yearly)• Company pension scheme 4,5%• Health Cash Plan • Cycle to work scheme• Hot drinks• Lovely team around you• Free parking Responsibilities for Electrical Design Engineer • Look after all the design requirements • Produce design calculations and production documentation • You will be responsible to create electrical wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical and corresponding component layouts. • Take ownership to work in a team and support others by reviewing and approving design information from other team members.• Experience in using Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to document changes.• Oversee the CE marking process on new designs including performing DFMEAs. • Be part of the team and support everyone in research, development, and product testing • Conduct technical investigations, perform root cause analysis, and initiate corrective actions.Requirements for the Electrical Design Engineer:• Electrical design experience, preferably some with machinery design.• Qualified to degree in Electrical Engineering.• Knowledge of, and experience of designing in accordance with IEC 60204 and IEC 61439.• Experience of the product CE marking process and DFMEA.• A high level of competency with Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical is required.• A CAD software package such as Autodesk Inventor, Creo, Siemens would be an advantage.
