Your skills and expertise will be recognised, with the ability to work on landmark projects, and drive ingenuity and innovation within the Design department.The company are a fast growing electrical equipment manufacturer, who have been in the business for over 100 years' leading the way in the design and manufacture of equipment for an array of industries such as industrial automation, marine, telecoms and rail transit throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia.You will be responsible for designing electrical equipment to bespoke client requirements, as well as the development of new products, working on projects from concept to production. The role:
- Taking an autonomous role within the engineering team, leading with technical aspects of designs
- Producing drawings, bills of materials and other information issued for equipment manufacture
- Design to regulatory and industrial standards
- Designing industrial, electrical equipment such as Neutral Earthing resistors, resistors for renewables and dynamic braking resistor
- Delivering complex projects to timelines and budget
- Produce design calculations and paperwork
