Field Service Engineer - Pumping Equipment

Location: Leicester / East Midlands some travel around the UK

Salary: £35-39,000 plus vehicle

About the Role

Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer looking for a role where you can apply your technical expertise in pumping equipment, booster sets, and pressurisation units?

We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused engineer to join our team, providing high-quality service, maintenance, and repair solutions across various sites around the East Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs of booster sets, pressurisation units, and associated pumping equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance checks and routine inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.

Carry out installations, upgrades, and testing of equipment, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Provide technical assistance and training to customers, helping them operate and maintain their systems effectively.

Work closely with internal teams, including sales and engineering, to address customer needs and provide technical support.

Maintain accurate service reports, repair logs, and documentation for traceability and compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, or in a similar technical support/maintenance role.

Strong mechanical, electrical, or electronic knowledge, with experience working on industrial or commercial machinery.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Strong customer service and communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel to customer sites, with occasional evening or weekend work.

A clean driving licence is preferred.
