JOB – Lead Control Systems Engineer  LOCATION – Leicestershire TERM - Permanent SALARY – £55,000 - £72,000 (competitive depending on experience)  A Leicestershire based engineering company are looking for a Lead Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.  The Lead Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 
  • HND of equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
  • Strong background in Control Systems Engineering – modifications & commissioning.
  • Good understanding of PLC softwares such as Allen-Bradley & Siemens.
  • Good understanding of AutoCAD electrical drawing package.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license is beneficial.
The Control Systems Engineer’s duties will involve:
  • Developing the existing control systems for current & future projects.
  • Producing electrical schematics & drawings for control panels.
  • Involvement in R&D.
  • Commissioning work before handover to customers.  
  • Occasional attending site visits when required.
  • Providing support on installations when required.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times.
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
