Are you a lead electrical engineer or supervisor, looking for a day's role in Leicester? We have an excellent opportunity for our client, a heavy engineering, FMCG manufacturer.
This role focuses on leading and developing the site electrical team while ensuring compliance with all electrical systems. You will create and implement plans to reduce downtime and production/service costs. This position offers an ambitious individual the opportunity to drive improvements and tackle faults proactively. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance for both LV and HV systems. You will delegate and implement improvement work and action plans on time and within budget, support site-wide electrical maintenance and improvements using tools such as Coswin, monitor breakdowns and faults while implementing reliability enhancements, and mentor electrical team members by promoting effective fault-finding and documenting corrective actions.
Ideal requirements include experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLCs in high-speed manufacturing or similar systems, familiarity with computerised maintenance systems and electrical installation projects, being a time-served Electrical Engineering Apprentice with 18th Edition qualification, and safe working practices including Lock Off/Tag Out. You will be commutable to Leicester and will have ideally worked as a lead electrical engineer or supervisor or you are currently an electrical maintenance engineer looking for the next step in your career.
