Gi Pro are excited to join forces with a global multi-site manufacturer with a long-established history, offering stability and long-term opportunities for growth. We're currently seeking electrically biased maintenance engineers to join a well experienced and efficient team, providing effective reactive and preventative maintenance, repair and servicing of plant and equipment for a state-of-the-art site.Typical duties will involve:

  • Collaborate with the factory team to execute the site's strategic plan.
  • Use a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for planned preventative maintenance and stock control.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs.
  • Conduct reactive maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Accurately record all relevant data.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the facility to enhance capabilities.

Desirable experience:

  • Experienced in a preventative planned maintenance setting.
  • Skilled in maintaining large engineering plants and equipment.
  • Experienced with maintenance and fault diagnosis of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Understanding of basic continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Experience in PLC fault finding (siemens- highly desirable), three phase systems and invertor drives.
  • Hold an apprenticeship (Level 3) in electrical maintenance or equivalent.
