Maintenance EngineerUp to £47,0003 Shift (Mornings, Afternoons, Nights)Mountsorrel

A leading manufacturer is looking for two skilled Maintenance Engineers - one electrically biased and one mechanically biased - to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production machinery while contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives.

The Role:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of industrial equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical faults to minimise downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and reliability projects.
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed to high standards of safety and compliance.
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-skilled team to meet production demands.
  • Record and update maintenance activities to improve asset performance.
We're Looking For:

Electrical Bias:

  • Time-served apprenticeship with a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Strong fault-finding skills with Siemens/Allen Bradley systems.
  • Experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) systems.
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Access).

Mechanical Bias:

  • Time-served apprenticeship with a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification.
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • MIG/MMA welding experience (desirable).
  • Strong fault-finding skills.
  • Experience with TPM and PPM systems.
  • Good IT skills (Excel, Word, Access).

Both roles require:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role.
  • Good SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) awareness.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
