Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for hands-on work and problem-solving? my client is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong Electrical Bias to join their growing team!Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance across a range of systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in machinery, plant, and building infrastructure.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all systems run smoothly.
  • Work with PLCs, inverters, and control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and reduce downtime.
Skills & Experience:
  • Electrical bias with experience in maintenance and fault-finding on electrical systems.
  • Competence in both electrical and mechanical systems (knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies is advantageous).
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and control systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
