A Labourer/Electricians Mate is needed for Solar Farms around the Leicester area with a salary ranging from £140-160 per day based on experience.
Candidates should have a valid CSCS card, a full UK driving license, and strong troubleshooting skills.
The position requires the ability to travel up to an hour away, with occasional overnight travel covered by the employer.
This role is expected to start as a temporary contract for 3 months before transitioning onto the client's payroll.
Applicants should ideally have some experience in similar roles and be prepared to work outdoors, with training provided.

Labourer /Electricians Mate (Solar Farms) required to work around the Leicester area.

You must be able to travel up to an hour away. Further overnight travel may be required occasionally (Travel/hotel expenses covered & £25 lunch voucher upfront provided).

My client is happy to take on a labourer or electricians mate if you fancy a change of scene and would like to try something different from Domestic jobs. You will be working outside on their Solar Farms - full training will be provided.

Ideally this will be temp/contract/subbing for 3 months and then go onto my client's books/payroll.

Job Responsibilities:• Install string cables onto photovoltaic (PV) array tables.• Make off MC4 connectors at panels and combiner boxes.• Adhere to company safety protocols and industry standards

Skills & Qualifications required:• Valid CSCS card• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.• Common Sense and reliability, essential.• Full UK driving license.Offers:• £140-160 per day depending on your experience.• Own Vehicle allowance + 45p per mile or Company van and fuel card, when travel required.• Working hours; 7am-5pm with an hour for lunch, Mons-Thurs, 7am-3,4,5pm on Fridays (depending on workload for the week).• Overtime will be paid, 1x3 weekend work with travel expenses, if required.
