Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Assembly Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality products using various materials such as aluminium, glass, and composite decking. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to produce finished products.
Safely operate forklifts to move heavy parts and materials within the workshop.
Handle and assemble materials including aluminium, glass, and composite decking.
Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on tools and equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure production deadlines are met.

Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience in assembly or fabrication, ideally within a manufacturing or metalworking environment.
Tools Proficiency: Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches) and power tools (e.g., drills, grinders).
Forklift Driving: Valid forklift license or willingness to undergo training.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy parts and materials safely.
Material Knowledge: Experience working with materials such as aluminium, glass, or composite decking is essential.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
