Interim Senior Commercial Finance Analyst (c4-Month Duration)Location: LeicestershirePay: £350-450 per day umbrella rateAbout the Role:Macildowie Finance is partnering with a prominent Leicestershire-based business to recruit an Interim Senior Commercial Finance Analyst for a 4-month period. This exciting opportunity is with a leading organisation renowned for its premium quality products and industry-leading performance. The company is currently undergoing a digital and data transformation, investing heavily in tools like Power BI and moving away from reliance on Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, accurate analysis and commentary to key stakeholders, including the CFO, CEO, and Sales & Marketing Director.
- Build and maintain relationships across the business to provide financial advice and support at all levels.
- Review, analyse, and present key performance metrics, including project performance.
- Conduct deep dive analysis using advanced Excel skills, identifying areas of variance to plan-both positive and negative.
- Advise stakeholders on opportunities to increase profitability, providing comprehensive commercial finance support across the business.
- Lead all budgeting and forecasting activities across the organisation.
Skills & Experience:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is essential.
- Proven experience in commercial finance and business partnering, ideally with senior managers or directors.
- Ability to analyse and present large data sets clearly and effectively.
- Advanced Excel skills (up to Macro/VBA)
- Previous experience with Power BI will be big advantage!
