SENIOR CREDIT RISK ANALYST

Join a leading retailer- as a Senior Credit Analyst specializing in Credit Risk Acquisitions, you will be responsible for assessing and analyzing the creditworthiness of potential customers, ensuring a sound risk management framework for new acquisitions. This role requires a deep understanding of credit risk, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance, as well as the ability to make informed recommendations to support business growth while maintaining prudent risk levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze Credit Risk Trends: Leverage data analytics to evaluate credit performance, identify risk trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance our credit risk management processes.
  • Support Strategy Development: Assist in the design and refinement of credit risk strategies, working closely with senior risk managers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor Risk Metrics: Track key risk indicators, analyze portfolio performance, and provide regular reports to ensure the company maintains a healthy balance between risk and growth.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Credit Analyst, with a focus on credit risk strategy
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills- using SAS or SQL
  • In-depth knowledge of credit risk management, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
