A leading accountancy firm are seeking a capable Practice Accountant for a key job role at their Leicester office, mostly focused on managing a client portfolio, as a Client Manager.

The firm are also interested in a capable Accountant, for a rounded accounts and tax position, but without the initial client portfolio responsibility, so applications are welcomed from people with experience gained in an accountancy practice at both levels.

The role will oversee the delivery of accounts, tax and statutory services, but also offer opportunity for the provision of bespoke support and advice to ambitious business owners and their businesses. Operating in a Client Manager position, you will manage a portfolio of mixed clients, reviewing and reporting, undertaking client visits and having positive interaction with customers.

Key responsibilities include:

Support your clients, provide advice and refer them to colleagues where relevant for specialist advisory services 

Pro-actively manage the portfolio, including WIP management and debtor management - meeting client deadlines 

Support Directors in ad hoc projects

Assisting in the management of the office and developing junior members of staff
