An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and expanding accountancy firm in Leicester as an Audit Manager. You’ll take charge of a varied portfolio of audit clients, including owner-managed businesses, corporate entities, and not-for-profit organisations. Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll deliver outstanding client service, manage audit engagements, and lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Oversee the financial management of audit engagements, ensuring delivery is on time and within budget.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses and spot opportunities to offer additional services.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a motivated audit team.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control and risk management procedures.
  • Represent the firm at events and contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities.
About You
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with extensive audit experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in UK GAAP, FRS 102, ISAs, and Company Law.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
  • Solutions-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
