Category Account Manager

Are you a talented Category Account Manager ready to make a significant impact? Join my clients dynamic Trading Team, where your expertise will drive our category management strategy to new heights. My client is looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas and best practices to maximize existing product categories and identify new product and supplier opportunities for our growing membership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop supplier categories aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Ensure categories meet KPIs and support strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with the Trading Team and key stakeholders to achieve the company's objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, members, and industry partners.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings and events, representing the company at industry gatherings.
  • Produce detailed management reports and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Embrace additional duties as needed to drive success.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in Category Management, with a track record of driving growth and spotting new opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with digital trading.
  • Preferred but not essential: background in the building materials sector.
