Our client is a well-networked and connected Corporate Finance team in the East Midlands, keen to hire at anywhere from Manager to Director grade and offering a rewarding job role, with a strong basic salary and significant bonus potential.

This job can be hired from Manager through to Senior manager / Director level in M&A.

Scope A senior member of an M&A team working on global opportunities with own responsibility for origination, deals and management of a deal team, reporting directly to clients and leadership team.

Strong basic salary + bonus (to 20% of salary typically, but this can be increased if the new hire wanted to swap higher bonus for a lower basic) - negotiable, with scope for partnership

Daily tasks:

  • Deal origination, including networking, generating, following-up and converting leads
  • Leading the pitch process
  • Executing and leading transactions throughout both buy and sell side processes as well as ad-hoc assignments (fund raising, MBO, valuations for example)
  • Liaising closely with senior team members on resourcing, direction and strategy, recruitment, and retention

Significant scope for a self-starter within a tight and flexible team:

  • M&A / CF experience
  • Developing / developed ability to lead M&A processes
  • Ability / willingness to originate
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (private business owners, PE, other advisors and C level public company executives)
