Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for our Local Authority client.

The post holder will be working in the service to review finance processes, alongside existing staff and external contractors, to implement change to ensure best practice is embedded.

Day to day budget monitoring is carried out by an existing Finance Business Partner who works within Central Finance.

The Ideal candidate for the Finance Business Partner will have;

  • Local Government Finance experience
  • Experience and knowledge of accounting for Housing Revenue Accounts
  • Experience of budget preparation and monitoring
  • Experience/understanding of statutory accounting and reporting requirements
  • Experience of reviewing processes and implementing changes
  • Relationship Building and Stakeholder Management
  • Experience in the use of MS Excel and MS Word (or equivalent) and integrated financial systems.
