Finance Business PartnerLocation: Leicester | Salary: £45,000 + Study SupportWe are recruiting on behalf of an innovative and growing company, seeking a talented Finance Business Partner with strong analytical and communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation, playing a key role in shaping financial strategy and business decision-making.The Role: Our client is a well-established group that has recently acquired businesses within the construction industry (each with a £5m turnover). They are looking for a proactive and commercially focused finance professional to partner with key stakeholders and take ownership of financial reporting and analysis for their new acquisitions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Business Partnering: Work closely with senior management to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making.
  • Management Accounts Production: Prepare a full set of management accounts with insightful commentary and reporting packs.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Provide financial analysis on business performance, trends, costs, revenues, and key drivers.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, supporting business planning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present management accounts and financial analysis at meetings, ensuring financial data is translated into actionable insights.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records, reviewing reconciliations and debtor reports.
About You:
  • Experience as a Finance Business Partner or a management accountant with strong business partnering exposure.
  • Part-Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or QBE.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting financial data to support decision-making.
  • Proven ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools, including advanced Excel skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
