Finance Business Partner - Manufacturing & Product Costing |Castle Donington |£55,000 - £65,000

Are you an experienced Finance Business Partner with a passion for manufacturing and product costing?We are seeking a talented and proactive Finance Business Partner to join a client's team in Castle Donington. In this pivotal role, you will support the manufacturing operations by providing financial insights and strategic recommendations to drive business performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior leadership and operational teams to provide financial insights, analysis, and support for decision-making processes.
• Lead the preparation and analysis of product costing, ensuring accurate cost allocation and profitability assessments.
• Monitor and report on manufacturing costs, including direct and indirect expenses, to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain cost models for new products, ensuring they align with business targets and industry standards.
• Provide financial forecasting and budgeting support, ensuring cost assumptions are factored accurately in planning cycles.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, procurement, and supply chain) to optimise cost structures and improve operational efficiency.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to manufacturing financials.
• Contribute to financial risk management and provide strategic recommendations for cost reduction and margin improvement.

Skills & Experience Required:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a finance business partnering role, with a strong focus on manufacturing environments and product costing.
• Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and product costing methodologies in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights to non-financial stakeholders.
