Alexander Daniel are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Finance Business Partner on behalf of their Derbyshire-based client on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between finance and operations, providing real-time financial insights, analysis, and reporting to senior management. This role will be pivotal in ensuring financial efficiency, identifying risks, and supporting informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operational and finance teams to provide insightful financial analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and deliver real-time reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Assess business operations, identifying cost efficiencies and profitability opportunities.
  • Monitor external financing and provide regular updates on financial risks and performance.
  • Build strong relationships with senior managers and operational teams, translating financial data into actionable insights.
  • Present complex financial information in a clear, concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Fully Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong academic background
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with the ability to generate clear, impactful reports.
  • Self-starter with the confidence to work autonomously and engage with different business areas.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing decision-making.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving business with a hands-on approach.
