Due to growth, a leading manufacturer of complex electronic components has a new vacancy for a Finance Director to join the team. You will lead the site finance operations taking day to day responsibility and providing leadership to the finance team, candidates are sought with experience working in a senior finance position in a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing, engineering, distribution or similar.

Commutable from: Leicester, Coventry, Hinckley, Derby, Nottingham, Northampton, Nuneaton, Rugby, Loughborough, Coalville.

Salary: 80,000 - 100,000 p.a. + excellent benefits

Suitable for: Finance Director, Finance Controller, Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Accountant, Financial Director.

The Role

Provide leadership and guidance to the team.

Generation of Monthly management accounts, statements, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Forecasts.

Presenting to Senior Exec Team and global head office to facilitate Management Decision Making.

Ensuring statutory reporting is done to a high level and on time.

Reporting of Financial and Manufacturing KPIs.

Financial modelling to highlighting business opportunities, decision impacts and risks.

Liaise with auditors and preparing audit packs.

Support the product pricing and quoting process.

Performing financial analysis on the company to predict financial health

Monitoring spending and creating annual budgets

Ensuring the compliance of all group accounting and control policies

Reducing costs and implementing efficiencies to increase profit.


The Person

Minimum 5 years of experience in industry (manufacturing, distribution, engineering, etc).

Proven leadership skills.

Previous experience working in a large group organisation would be beneficial.

Ability to prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and reports.

Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; strong skills in Excel required.

Ability to work with all levels of personnel including senior management and key customers.

Have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Continuous improvement mindset.
