We are seeking a Finance Director for a permanent position at a subsidiary of an engineering group, located in Leicester with some travel to another Midlands site.
The role involves partnering with the Managing Director to shape the company's financial strategy during a period of significant growth and new initiatives.
Candidates should be qualified accountants with prior experience in a finance leadership role, preferably within a small to medium-sized manufacturing or engineering business.
The salary for this position ranges from £95,000 to £120,000, along with a generous bonus, electric company car scheme, private healthcare, and pension.
This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious individual with strong relationship-building skills and a background in the manufacturing or engineering sectors.

We are searching for a Finance Director on a permanent basis to join a subsidiary of a group of engineering companies. This a hybrid opportunity, with the main site being in Leicester and with travel to another site in the Midlands. Reporting in to the Managing Director, you'd be joining at an exciting time for the business, with several current business growth initiatives, including new product launch, international expansion, an ongoing acquisition and a new business tender, all worth significant value to the company.In addition to helping drive forward the growth ambitions of the business, this would be a pivotal role in bringing structure, discipline, and professional rigour to the finance, HR and IT functions. You will partner with the Managing Director to provide key contributions to the company’s financial strategy and decision-making process. You will oversee the day to day finance team, driving continuous improvement and optimising the cost base.Desired Profile:

Qualified Accountant
Previous experience of working in a finance leadership position ideally with a SME manufacturing or engineering business
Ability to connect with and influence engineers
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build, develop, and sustain relationships.
Technically proficient, able to lead confidently and foster trust within the team.
Skilled in balancing hands-on work with high-level reporting and strategic oversight.
Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
