I have been retained by a client of mine to recruit an outstanding opportunity for a current FD to join this fast paced, PE backed, growing business.You MUST have:
- An understanding of Private Equity backed businesses and experience of managing PE transactions.
- Already be an FD or equivalent level in a fast-paced or growing business.
- E-commerce/digital background
- Strong all round FD skills including technical/reporting/compliance requirements in addition to the strategic, commercial insights
- Great team leadership skills
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to assess and ensure the accuracy of large data sets.
The Finance Director will lead the strategic direction of the Finance function ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. This role involves oversight of the financial strategy, governance, reporting, and risk management while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will be a key member of the leadership team, driving the company's financial sustainability and growth. This is an all-round role so if you are a purely Commercial FD this one is not for you, equally if you have no commercial experience and are all technical/compliance it isn't either. The role is very much a blend of the two. Team leadership is also key- mentoring and developing team members and fostering a high-performance culture.Please get in touch!
