We are supporting a leading food manufacturer in Leicester in their search for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and drive financial strategy.
This is a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity, optimising costs, and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate management accounts, financial statements, and reports.
Oversee bank reconciliations, supplier invoices, and supplier payment runs.
Manage VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Conduct financial analysis, including product and customer profitability.
Monitor cash flow, forecast financial performance, and support budgeting.
Process supplier invoices and manage customer invoicing and collections.
Develop cost-saving strategies and financial insights to support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
Continuously improve financial processes and implement automation for efficiency.
Key Requirements:
ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified or part-qualified (Desirable).
Experience in a similar finance management role (Essential).
Strong knowledge of financial software, particularly Xero (Essential).
Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting (Essential).
Knowledge of tax regulations, financial compliance, and audit processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Experience in the food manufacturing sector (Desirable).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Salary: 42,000 - 45,000 + Private Healthcare & Benefits
Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00/5:00 PM
