The Company:ER Recruitment are excited to be working with our client, an expanding and respectable Leicester based business. They are seeking a proactive individual who possesses finance experience, along with people management, and the ability to form positive relationships with clients, colleagues and providers that are built on trust.Role & Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

  • Recording financial transactions, processing invoices, and reconciling bank statements
  • Produce activity reports and statistics as required
  • Record office expenditure and manage the office budget
  • Day-to-day running of the office from an administrative and operational capacity
  • Delegating and managing the workflow of the office and staff to facilitate the smooth running of the business
  • Coaching the team to help get the best performance from the individuals and the team as a whole
  • Occasionally chairing meetings with staff, and where relevant, type the agenda and take minutes
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic IT systems/software before escalating to IT team
  • Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs in a timely manner
  • Looking at continuous improvement/efficiencies for the firm from an operational standpoint and project manage/ implement these developments

About You as the Finance Manager:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Finance Manager role with elements of Office Management
  • Good knowledge of office software systems, including the Microsoft Office Suite and an Accounting package.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication & organisational skills
  • Innovative with excellent problem-solving skills
  • You will be proactive, taking the initiative, and also motivational to the other staff
  • High levels of integrity and experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
