Finance Manager - Leicester - Permanent - up to £38,000 per annum
Macildowie Finance are working with an SME manufacturing business based in Leicester to recruit for a Finance Manager to join their finance team on a permanent basis.
This business is a leading player in their industry, with turnover being steady & stable over recent years following a period of high growth, with most recent figures sitting around £12million. The finance team consists of established and long-serving members, and you will report into an experienced Finance Director. There will be the opportunity to learn & develop your professional experience throughout your time at this business too.
This position is based in the office on a full time basis.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Monthly management accounts production: accruals, journals, to trial balance
- Bank reconciliations
- Liaising with HMRC (including pension payment submissions)
- Statement reconciliations monthly for our Invoice Finance bank account
- Assisting external Accountants with preparation of Year End Accounts
- Management of internal payroll process for c150 staff
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- Brilliant communication and engagement skills within the business & externally
- Excellent attention to detail
- Current/recent experience of using Sage 50, inputting data & pulling off reports (essential)
- Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience
