As the Head of Finance, you will lead the finance department, ensuring financial stability and growth through effective budgetary control. You will be an experienced leader with exceptional attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Reporting

Oversee cost accounting and bank reconciliation

Ensure all balance sheets are fully reconciled

Issue financial statements and manage month-end close processes
-
Develop and produce monthly management accounts within 14 days of month-end
Financial Analysis & Controls
-
Develop and maintain performance measurements
-
Design and review financial policies and internal control systems
-
Ensure accurate and timely VAT returns
-
Prepare audit information and support compliance
Strategic Planning & Leadership

Participate in strategic financial planning
-
Lead and develop the finance team
-
Oversee accounts receivable, payable, and billings
-
Manage payroll on Sage and ensure smooth pension scheme administration
Budgeting & Forecasting
-
Develop budget targets and financial plans
-
Monitor and update forecasts to support accurate financial decision-making

ACCA, CIMA qualification, or equivalent
-
People management and leadership experience
-
Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Working knowledge of payroll and pension schemes
-
Experience in legal compliance and financial risk management

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Sage

A hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
